Services

Derek's Sealcoating provides the following services:

• Residential and commercial driveway and parking lot sealcoating
• Crack sealing and crack filling
• Pothole and wide crack repair
• Line striping and sport court marking

All services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and the physical condition of your pavement. We reserve the right to decline or modify a project if site conditions make safe or effective work impossible.

Estimates

All estimates provided by Derek's Sealcoating — whether by phone, email, or on-site visit — are free and carry no obligation. Estimates are based on the visible condition of the pavement at the time of assessment. Final pricing may be adjusted if additional damage or conditions are discovered upon arrival that were not apparent during the initial estimate.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided.

Scheduling and Weather

Sealcoating requires dry conditions and temperatures above 50°F to cure properly. We reserve the right to reschedule any job due to rain, cold weather, or other conditions that would compromise the quality of the finished product. We will contact you as soon as possible if a reschedule is necessary. No cancellation fees apply for weather-related rescheduling.

Customer Responsibilities

To allow us to complete your job properly, you agree to:

• Remove all vehicles, personal property, and obstructions from the work area before our crew arrives
• Ensure the driveway or lot is accessible on the scheduled date
• Keep pets and children off the work area during and after application until the sealer has cured (24–48 hours for foot traffic, 48–72 hours for vehicles)
• Notify us of any underground utilities, irrigation heads, or drainage concerns prior to work beginning

Derek's Sealcoating is not responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow post-application care instructions.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed to in writing. We accept cash, check, credit/debit card, Venmo, and Zelle. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee. For commercial or large-scale projects, partial deposits or payment schedules may be arranged prior to work beginning.

Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee all workmanship for a minimum of 1 year from the date of service. If a defect in our application is identified within that period, we will return to assess and address the issue at no charge.

This guarantee does not cover:

• Normal wear and weathering
• Damage caused by vehicle fluids (oil, gasoline, transmission fluid) after sealing
• Structural failures in the underlying pavement not caused by our work
• Damage resulting from improper use or failure to follow curing instructions
• Pre-existing conditions disclosed or visible at the time of estimate

Limitation of Liability

Derek's Sealcoating's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost business, vehicle damage from pre-existing pavement conditions, or third-party claims.

We carry general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
